Art, Media & Storytelling

Alongside technical and research work, I create across film, visual art, and public communication as a way of exploring identity, power, emotion, and lived experience. Some of this work intersects with space and science; other pieces stand on their own. Across mediums, I use storytelling to make sense of complex ideas, translate personal and collective experiences, and create moments of reflection, empathy, and connection beyond formal academic or technical contexts.

Paintings (Selected Works)

My paintings explore awe, interiority, and emotional release, moving between realism and abstraction. I’m drawn to moments where something vast (the night sky, the body, raw emotion) meets something deeply personal. Across these works, I experiment with light, texture, and gesture to capture states of longing, resilience, and quiet intensity, treating painting as a space for reflection rather than perfection.

The Awe Inspiration Podcast:

The Awe Inspiration Podcast is a long-form conversation series exploring how people who shape science, technology, and society actually think. Through intimate, curiosity-driven interviews, I focus less on achievements and more on inner worlds values, turning points, doubt, courage, and the mental frameworks that sustain long-term impact.

The podcast sits at the intersection of space, technology, philosophy, quality of life, and human meaning, using awe as both a lens and an outcome. Guests range from senior leaders in space and engineering to thinkers working at the edge of innovation, with conversations designed to make complex ideas emotionally accessible and deeply human.

At its core, the podcast is about learning how to think, not what to think and about reconnecting ambition, progress, and exploration with empathy, reflection, and wonder.

Short film & Documentary:

In the Quiet Hours is a quiet, intimate short film about emotional labour, composure, and the unseen toll of caring for others.

It follows a therapist navigating a volatile session that forces her to confront the fragile boundary between professional responsibility and personal unravelling, capturing the moment where restraint gives way to vulnerability.

If you're looking for a slightly more poetic version or a one-line logline, I can provide alternatives.

The Weight of Weightlessness is a short experimental video that explores the emotional and symbolic weight of representation in spaces where gravity and visibility are unequally distributed. Set during a zero-gravity flight, the piece reflects on what it means to carry identity, history, and expectation into spaces that claim neutrality or universality. Even as the body becomes physically weightless, the weight of representation remains quiet, constant, and inescapable.

Poetry:

My poetry explores meaning-making, identity, and reintegration, moving between fragmentation and wholeness, awe and inquiry. Through rhythmic structure and deliberate repetition, these pieces examine how humans seek coherence in uncertainty, how identity fractures under pressure, and how healing emerges through integration rather than erasure. The work is grounded in philosophy, inner experience, and the tension between the individual self and something larger inviting reflection on how we locate purpose, belonging, and grace within complexity.

Poetry (Selected Works):

Fragmented Existence:

In the realm of multiple identities

Once unfolded the wounding of the self

Fragments emerged in a complex dance

Yet belonging wholly got no chance

Shattered reflections, a fractured core

Seeking oneness within, but it's outward I looked for more

As these paradoxes were embraced,

I left my soul unsettled and unfaced.

And yet, these fragments happen to be an old friend

Expressing itself in countless ways

In moments, identities, places, and the self

Continually distorting perceptions of myself

But one day, the healing whispers echoed through time

Finally, the lonely trees found a rhyme

The epidemic of the forests unseen

The trees became the forest, somewhere in between

As the dissociations began to fade

Emerged a thread connecting each day's cascade

In the center of this labyrinth's maze

Beautiful moments surfaced in a contradictory haze

Like in atoms, entropy, or galaxies, boundaries were unknown

Fragments or whole, in fractals I've grown

Finding safety for all my parts to be expressed with grace

This is my journey from fragments to reintegrations embrace

Poetry about Poetry:

Consumes, Evokes, Conjures; To go beyond the ordinaries Connects, Surrenders, Immerses; To the greater than ourselves

Attempts, Bids, Endeavors; To answer the mystery of being Aids, Helps, Assists; To impregnate the present with meaning

Inclines, Inspires, Incites; To contemplate as the unknowns may Equips, Furnishes, Provisions; To shatter the indifferences of everyday

Imitates, Adapts, Transforms; To act as a magnifying glass Italicizes, Bolds, Underlines; To ensure moments don’t lose their class

Allows, Permits, Sanctions; To let the infinities converse Succeeds, Prospers, Triumphs; To create ripples in the universe
